That's what makes massage therapy an exciting prospective career. Most people entering the world of massage have already tried other careers, and seek massage therapy because of the flexibility and control it gives over their own schedules while earning a healthy salary.

As this profession is enjoying its latest increase in growth, the education available is also better than ever. The massage schools are numerous and have plenty of inexpensive solutions. Students will also be able to earn a living while they are learning.

Instruction in massage enables an utmost flexible way of life. The average masseuse works around 19 hours a week, but is able to get $60 for one hour of massage, so the pay will allow an inspiring life with lots of free time. The average massage therapist earns $39 an hour, plus tip, for all massage connected work.

Most of the time they work alone, making their own work hours. They sometimes work out of their own homes giving them a satisfying career and letting them improve people's lives. Enrollment is growing in massage schools around the country. More and more people are taking advantage of the financial freedom and choices that are possible with a massage career.

By merely giving 15 hours of massage a week, most massage therapists can make $30,000 a year, compared to the average income of $28,000 medical workers make working fulltime or the $23,000 earned by most professional therapist aides. This leads an abundance of free time for other jobs, hobbies or relaxation. Massage is a satisfying, rewarding career that offers room for an active lifestyle.

Starting a career is as simple as enrolling in a qualified program available throughout the country.
